Frequently Asked Questions:
Do I need a fishing license?
No, we will provide fishing licenses for both North and South Carolina, while on the boat.
What should I bring?
There are a couple of items that we recommend that you bring on the trip:
- Some form of sun protection, whether its UV protectant clothing or sunscreen (the sun can be intense here)
- Polarized glasses
- Pack a Lunch and drink
- Light Rain Jacket
- Non marking shoes
What about the weather?
Safety is the most important item for us. If the weather does not cooperate we will not go. We will attempt to reschedule during your stay. If the weather interrupts our trip, we will prorate your trip.
What is included in the fishing charter?
We will provide you with rods, reels, tackle, fishing licenses, baits, and lures. Please refer to “What should I bring?” and we will gladly provide the rest.
Do you accept tips?
Tips are appreciated for good service.
Will I get seasick?
Each individual is different. We suggest you talk to your doctor about what kind of medication can help you with this. In the event that a client becomes ill and unable to continue, the captain will allow you to make the call to cut the trip short.
What time should we meet you at the dock?
The captain will inform you of a location and start time. We suggest that you arrive 15-20 minutes early to avoid a rushed start.
